当然，晋祠不只有这些，作为一座千年古祠，这里有宋元明清时期的各式建筑100余座。晋祠还有一座别致的古建筑，就是水镜台，它身上有明清两代建筑的痕迹，前面的戏台屋顶是清代修建，而用来化妆更衣的后台，则是明代建筑。不仅如此，水镜台还集殿、台、楼、阁四种建筑风格于一体，前台上部单檐卷棚顶为阁的形式，下部为戏台，后台上部重檐歇山顶为楼的形式，下部为殿的形式。
